I’m migrating the website to another server in the next day or two. If you see the forums in restricted read-only mode, or some site down or acting glitchy, that’ll be the reason. Only the ludeon.com domain will be affected.
I’ll try to have it all back and running clean as soon as possible.

Mathias, the standard response would be that RimWorld will be on Steam when it’s on Steam; and that will likely be when it’s finished.
It will likely be quite some time. The game is still in Alpha.
The dev seems to have no desire to release through Early Access.

i need help. i love to play on maps that have a huge mountain i can dig into and kinda just expand inside it. with the current way of creating a random seed, it is almost impossible. is there any way to make this happen more frequently?

It doesn’t.
Although, I would recommand you look for “mountain” as a description of your crashing site when you pick your crash site. You can also pick the “elevation” world display as it displays the elevation of the world.

Jaiden they are up i think but if there not loading you may have the same problem as me which i can work out why there not loading on my PC (done all the scan i can think of and clear temp/cookes) but will load on my IPad and my work PC 🙁

Thanks for the update, I really appreciate the status. I check in multiple times a day to your blog as well as the change log and am really excited for the new content to hit when it’s ready. Thank you for making such an addictive and incredible game so far!
