Tynan

Thank you!

Do you know how to use Git? We can make your translation official. I want to put it on this list: http://ludeon.com/forums/index.php?topic=2933.0

This way I can include it with Alpha 5!

I created an official Japanese translation here: https://github.com/Ludeon/RimWorld-ja

If you make a Git user I can give you access to it.

I confirmed it. After that I upload it in this. I wait to come to be able to translate alpha 5.

Hey there's a new translation tool in the public unstable version of the game that will make translating much easier.

Please read about it here:

Proxyer

Horribly enough, one translator is currently trying to overwrite the Japanese translation, destroying previous translations.
He is trying to change the content of translations intentionally into completely different words and submit them to GitHub (some strange translations have already been submitted and released as official translations in the last update) .

Even in Japan's RimWorld community, there are discussions about this translator's work. Most of the opinions are "Please don't change item names etc. into completely different words after the official version."

Unfortunately, Now the link with the official translation community is weak, so only the opinions of some people are passing through.

I have same opinions as Proxyer.
Because that person have overwritten names of things in Rimworld (like Healroot or Inferno Launcher) with weird and awkward names, many Japanese Rimworld players think this translation is inferior compared to the previous translation of Rimworld.
Hello

ukn

I have same opinions as Proxyer and Namsan.
In Japan's RimWorld community, most of the opinions to his translation are "Don't change item name." "If you do, you should do it as private version." But he ignores all of them.
Worse still, his translation is of lower quality than the previous one.
Changing the names of many items will lead to player confusion.

Tynan

Hey all, I understand the concern.

Here is the list of changes to the translation: https://github.com/Ludeon/RimWorld-ja/commits/master

Are all the problems from the last commit by "denev-rove"? We can remove that if it would help.

Thank you for your quick response.

Namsan

Yes, It's definitely "denev-rove", I checked that person's edit history and I confirmed it.
