weather forecast to seed

i just begin a new map with savanne (in french) but with 10 days of winter. though in the right corner it says summer perpetual and i 've been playing for ten fifteen days in game, i reach april may month it should be cool weather and a wage of cold (-11 degree fahrenheit in french) has destroyed my whole crops. is there a way to forecast the weather or is it randomnessly occured? shall i invest in hydroponics?
