Title: Accessability Idea: Expand Downloadable Scenario System
Post by: Cpt.Fupa on November 30, 2022, 04:12:04 PM
I find that the place I have always experienced the most friction when starting a game of rimworld is, well, starting it. Randomized pawns (I know there's a mod for that, but its still not a great system), building ideologies, and now the extra layer of startup complexity with the new Biotech expansion is too much to shove in your face when you try to start up a new game. We are already able to download startup scenarios through the steam workshop, why not expand scenarios and allow them contain pre selected pawns, ideologies, and the stuff that's in biotech? I feel like this would make the game far more accessable, especially for a lazy ass like myself.

Thanks for reading!

I could be on board for this, though I feel like going that far would warrent a further step to add events, and that would get close to doc their territory
