I personally prefer this new sound, what's more fitting then an ancient war horn used to indicate an attack on your settlement? But that's just my opinion

I'm hoping to avoid spoilers so please don't post any, Thank you.
Am I the only one who got scared shitless by the event that happened? Like I honestly saw it coming but holy fuck it hit something deep in me? Am I just to weak to handle this game?
This game is the first "horror" gane I've played and am going to see through, I have however seen 2 movies from the Alien series and didn't bat an eyelash as well as watched a couple of youtubers Play through Isolation and countless other Horror games.
I guess I'm hoping for a decent discussion of some sort to help ease my pounding heart.

If you are using the unstable build you have to research them first, hence why there are now bedrolls at the begining instead

Alpha 17 was in player testing for a few weeks. Tynan said it was due to the increasing complexity of the game. I would bet you will have plenty of notice before 18 is forced.

I like to think that they prefer the raw resource for the simple fact that it is more valuable, I.e instead of a rifle which can be used for one thing, they instead can buy the metal and components and turn it into... power generation, a ship, several different tables, and what not

the no name colonly is a base game issue. u can enable dev and force a name of faction and colony without any issues.

I mean you could technically be the raiding group now , I took my meager rations after a raid either killed or captured four colonists (I only had six), one was a good colonist and the other was utter shit. we went and raided a pirate faction took out maybe 4 of the 15 defenders before both colonists were downed. Can't say that was a huge gain in my books but I sure as hell had a great time doing it

Randy is random to a certain extent, apperently he is easier over time, but he can be brutal to new colonies, Cassandra is tough in the long run but also has a "learning" curve to it
