Title: [1.0.2096] Smokeleaf still kills pawns
Post by: pllovervoltage on December 04, 2018, 07:19:18 AM
Pawn with 3/10 brain and multiple cuts to brain (dropping consciousness to 30% or to 20%) smokes a smokeleaf. Smokeleaf doesn't kill pawn.
Pawn with 3/10 brain and joywire and high-on wake up (gets consciousness also to 30%) smokes a smokeleaf. Smokeleaf kills pawn
Pawn with 3/10 brain and joywire without any drugs gets administered smokeleaf. Smokeleaf kills pawn.

Expected that smoking smokeleaf in all cases wouldn't kill pawn.

Viagra can kill a human too, when he just got 3/10 heart.

It is more the question, why did you allow this kind of drugs for him. Sure he is near brain dead so a few last happy hours are a nice thing for him.
But he still could do a good cleaning job.

It was for testing? I don't actually allow drugs for this pawn but I gave it luci and I'm waiting for luci to heal it. Smokeleaf was patched so that it wouldn't kill pawns. There was a post on reddit where it did. So I used this pawn for testing to find out which situations does in fact kill pawns and thus these examples. 3/10 brain and a cut gives the same 30% consciousness as 3/10 brain and joywire and high-on wake up. But one kills the pawn and not the other. There should be more consistency.

I did try all the 3 situations you posted and for me all 3 kill the pawns for the reason Canute mentioned. Maybe this has already been fixed.
However, the AI should be able to anticipate death and not ingest drugs in that case, which it does not right now. I opened a mantis ticket for this https://ludeon.com/mantis/view.php?id=3635

Thanks for reporting! ;)
