Jacob and his two companions crash landed on a Rimworld, and so they set up a colony, soon they were 7.

Then one day Jacob lost one of his friends, killed by raiders. His other friend was injured with a destroyed kidney.

Jacob was a perfectionist and only wanted the able bodied, in a cold moment of practicality Jakob sold his friend to slave traders.

Now it was just Jakob and the new crew, one friend buried in a field, the other friend who knew where sold as a slave.

Numbers are back up to 7 today, which is good.

Jakob has since realized that missing 1 kidney isn't the end of the world. He now deeply regrets selling his friend.

But life goes on.

Maybe one day Jakob and the others will build a star ship and take off, and look for Jakob's missing friend.  That would make an awesome sequel, if they live to see that day!
