Very nice :) Ok then, do you think you could rustle up something that looks like a battered old ship thruster? Something 2*1 in size, in a powered down state, and having sustained incredibly heavy damage?

I shall certainly have a go! By ship thruster, do you mean engine? And 2*1 meaning 2 horizontal 1 vertical, just to clarify?

I'll have a go at it tomorrow for you. Exciting! :)

Hey Calum! Thanks for responding to my graphics thread. :)

What graphics is it you're looking to have completed?
I'm not sure how coding really works so is there a standard naming system you want me to name specific files or anything?

I particularly love the idea of putting up travelers overnight. So, not prisoner or colonist bed, but guest beds?

My colonists always end up completely evil. I'd probably let the guests stay the 2 (or however many) nights, take their payment, then arrest them as they try to get out of the door  >:(

A bit about me
Hi, my name is Hannah and I'm a graphic/pixel artist. I'm currently studying at university so I don't have heaps and heaps of time on my hands at the moment, but game art is something I want to get heavily into over time, and what better place to do it than with supporting mods of a game I thoroughly enjoy?

I've previously worked on a tile based MMORPG game called pixelot that eventually didn't amount to anything, here are some of the graphics that I produced for that game: http://sta.sh/2wuzzmz5qfm?edit=1

I will also update the thread with images I've made for Rimworld when I've completed jobs for modders, if they don't mind the images being shared publicly.

Note: I will continually update this thread with a list of people I have accepted jobs from.

If you would like me to have a go at some artwork for you, please either PM me, or post here the following:

  • a description of your mod
  • what sprites you would like creating, along with how many tiles it is (1*1, 2*1 etc) if it isn't immediately obvious how big they need to be
  • what perspective you would like each sprite to be illustrated in (top down? front view?)
  • any other information that will make the process a little easier, e.g. specifications you definitely want your image to have, like particular colours etc.

Because of workload, I will not accept more than 6 requests at any one time. (I will add a waiting list if the demand gets longer than 6 people)

I am really, really interested in making a texture pack for rimworld. However..I don't have the foggiest how to go about it. Do I need any coding knowledge to be able to make it? Are texture packs even compatible with rimworld at its current development?

What software are people using to make these images- I typically use PS, but I noticed aseprite mentioned somewhere in there. Clueless :')

Are you still looking for artists?

I'm hunting for some voluntary game art work to start filling out a portfolio, and I'm a huge fan of rimworld. Just getting into mods and yours is the first I've come across, it sounds good. :)
