Cougars are good, but my luck isn't, my cougar went down at the first shot w/ charge rifle by raiders. The first bullet hit and got stuck in its brain  :(

If a thrumbo or elephant or any animals that can take a ton of damage gets downed, all hope is almost lost on them, last time I downed a thrumbo, it has 178% bleeding rate / day , not counting the infections. I think they'll die because not enough blood in a very short time (around 8 or 9 hours)

Just saying from personal experience

Imagine single fire-based weapon, now that is insane amount of cooked meat!

Is that a bad thing or a good thing?

Mine are all over the place and there is no way I can see how to keep them in a zone. Also I think my cocks are impotent! I'll need to pay closer attention to my fertilized eggs in future.

Make an indoor area and make a animal zone for them, then from the "Animals" Tab, select the zone that you want the chickens to be in

I don't think there's a way to do that, or I haven't found the way yet

cook more and store more cooked meals, so they don't have to eat raw stuff at all???

I also think this is the most normal way, and I don't think there's any way to prioritize them to eat what you want (except you click them manually)
