what music kind do you like?
I my self like NightCore and NightStep(of course if they are made good ;))
I enjoy rock and dub step
Pretty much everything, so long as it's not country, Rap or overusing Autotune.
I don't like rap or hard(er) versions of rock. I'm pretty fond of lyricless osts, beyond that. It can be electronic, orchestral, or whatever else so long as it doesn't venture too far into the hard rock region.
I never really listen to a particular kind of music.
My entire music collection is from music I heard from videos, radio and games.
(Mostly music used in games)

But seriously, I like soundtrack instrumental music, not much of a lyrical person myself.
While the actual movie was meh, the music for Oblivion (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Fx2QHiX4snI) was really good.
And the soundtrack for AC2 (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uH1wfrOcvHg) still gives me chills. ;)

from malinese rock, to klezmer, to sufi, raga, gypsy, classical, the jazz era of the 20's and 30's, 60-80's rock, blues, electronica, english medievel, gregorian choirs, swing and crooners, and so much more.

I too prefer instrumental music, but Civ V (and Christopher Tin) changed my view with lyrical music. Have you even heard of Baba Yetu? Or in fact the rest of Tin's album. His latest one, The Drop that Contained The Sea (http://www.billboard.com/artist/6095673/christopher-tin/chart?f=311) even debuted at #1 Billboard's Classical Albums.
Anything with bass enough that I can physically feel it through the air. However, I also quite like songs with good piano solos; largely because I always wanted to learn the piano.
