Mods / Re: How to activate mod's at a good way
April 29, 2022, 08:47:35 PM
hello

the problem is it happens with every mod and even when i "simulate not owning ideology" it does the same thing. even if i permanently turn on moderator options i think its called if it crashes due to this its as if it resets rim worlds to the point of new and i need to turn on the options again manually.

Help / any mod makes rimworld re install?
April 23, 2022, 01:48:06 PM
i'm really confused whenever i try to add mods to my mod list or if i "simulate not owning ideology" for example and the game resets to load the mod list.
it is as if it re-installs the game where ever i make any changes. even i i tick the box that should permanently enable developer mode it resets that as if i never used it.
iv'e tried to delete my rimworlds folder from directory and completely re install the game but nothing changed.

i have looked for help and done my best to my ability and i'm trying to shear as much info as i can but i'm not ultimately that good with pc stuff.

i have tried deleting it from directory like u said but i'm still having the same issue where whenever it restarts to load mods it freezes on the loading screen with the "..." but ultimately crashes again, and when i try again it docent open with another message but then the 3rd time it opens but the mod list is removed. to put this into perspective the only mod i'm using until i can get it to work is tilled soil. 1 mod and its crashing. this all started when i downloaded ideology. am i suppose to remove it before modding?

Help / any mod makes rimworld crash i need help
December 29, 2021, 05:38:45 PM
ever since i downloaded ideology my rimworld has being messing up alot with mods but i dont think thats the problem tho. whenever i select even 1 mod dosent matter what it is from my subscribed mods from steam, when it reloads it crashes after about 5-10 seconds of loading back in and i get this error message "An error occurred while updating [game title]". when i try to open it again the selected mods are un-selected again and keeps doing it. i did post this on Reddit and they said to delete registry keys from rimworld using the regedit but iv'e never used it before and i don't know what files i should be deleting or how to locate them. i know how to search with regedit i just dont know what file to delete or if rimworld should be pre-uninstalled or not. do i just delete the ludeon studio file or specific files inside it?
