Rimworld crashes randomly

I've read the instructions on how to report a bug, but unfortunately since the game seems to just crash randomly, the best description of what I was doing is that I was merely playing the game. I have used mods previously and I originally thought maybe one of these were the reason for the random crashes. So I decided to try playing without mods. The output log I have here is from an unmoded game within one in game day.

I had three colonists, couple growing zones, no stockpiles and I had assigned some trees to be chopped.

I am running a steam version of Rimworld on Win7 Ultimate x64 and I have Rimworld installed on a year old SSD.

Your game is definitely modded, and of old version. Current version is 0.16, 0.17 hopefully soon coming.
I would update to 0.16. Or reinstall from scratch. Here are the instructions. Black screen? Or, game won't run?

Well that's weird, I have all the mods disabled. Also according to Rimworld it should be up to date I think. According to the main menu I am running 0.16.1393. Also when I verify the game caches with Steam it says that they are all good. But fair enough, I could try removing the whole game and reinstalling it.

It should be noted that you will be unable to use a modded saved colony with Vanilla RimWorld.

Additionally, Steam Cloud may be saving mod configuration data, and this should be disabled until after you have reinstalled RimWorld.

I started a fresh game after disabling all mods, but I guess the steam cloud thing sounds plausable. I've now unsubscribed from all the mods and done a full reinstall according to the instructions provided in the other thread. So far it hasn't crashed.

Good to hear you've managed to stop the game from crashing. Please report back should this situation change (I'm also moving this to the support forum as it doesn't seem like a bug caused this).
