What does this special chair do exactly? I put one in my colonists room as I assumed they would want to sit in them and gain a joy boost or something but I havent really caught to many sitting in one :/

I havent patched yet (so feedback for 10a I guess ) but the joy system is mostly rough early on. Later on if you got a horseshoe pin, the chessboard and the billiards table setup they gain a hefty increase in happiness so making it to easy would take a bit of the challenge out of it imho.
Then again, my guys start AND end the day with 2 hours of joy (if they need it) so theyre not the most productive bunch

Well I just had a doctor install a bionic eye one of my colonists.... And in the process remove a perfect fine leg :|
He has one prostetic arm (has the Prostophope quirk or otherwise id give him a bionic one...) and he has a scar on one of his giving him a total of 75% sight. But still.... Thats one major slip up 0o

General Discussion / cramped enviroment
April 17, 2015, 09:45:24 PM
HI, ive got a question. I talked to some of my friends who got the game and they told me a 5x4 room with a bed and some other small things is big enough that people dont got the "cramped enviroment" debuff when theyre in their room. I dont think they played alpha 10 yet but I started on it and I keep getting the debuff, even with only a bed and a heater in the room :/
Is this a bug or does this debuff also take into account the area around their bedrooms? The wallways are only 1 space in width so that might cause it....

Honestly I have never seen a visitor take some food. The only instance where I saw it was when I rescued a guy from a friendly faction, patched him back up and he nabbed a simple meal before moving on his way.

I love medical screw ups like this. Best ive seen is that a doctor was operating on someones leg and ended up stabbing them in the eye.... Seriously he had 11 medicine to! xD

Ive had the same thing happen in my colony! Except in my case it was the newest enemy I captured who kept going beserk and who kept beeing beaten up. No spots were stolen but she kept doing it and I was getting sick of it. I freed up 3 of her organs to solve that problem <.<
Also I need a lung because SHE destroyed one in melee... Dident plan on it but she had 99 difficulty to recruit, was a pain in the neck with the constant beserking and I dident have food to substain my colonists, the other prisoners and her. <.<
