Hello!
Dunno if you know me around here but I like drawing stuff. I have about 3 weeks' worth of free time coming up soon and A16's just around the corner still buggy. So I thought I'd make this little contest while we all wait for it.

All right so what's the contest?
You post info about 3 of your colonists, I draw them. Vanilla or modded, both are welcome.
I'll choose 3 "winners" where I'll draw all 3 of their colonists. (But depending on how much time I'll still have left, I might increase it to 5) Everyone else will only have 1 of their colonists drawn. But heck everyone still wins because DRAWINGS!
I'll run names through a random selection (https://www.random.org/lists/) to keep things fair.

They don't have any prosthetics or injuries, so a health tab is not provided, they also don't have any gear besides the "Orassan Shotgun" and the "Orassan Rifle" depicted.

Diana "Kitty" Winters is an Orassan (space khajiit) that is particularly shy. She relies on her wife (Flora) for emotional support and stability.

Since they are both naked, you might have to get creative with character placement or use scenery strategically...

Health Overview: they're perfectly fine. except for the stew they eat every morning and evening. but they're not fat.
Additional details: she has a bear named sprinkles which is bonded with her (since my sister is a huge aphmau fan and i said that and then she begged me to name the bear sprinkles) her machete is also used for hunting squirrels and muffalos and such, plus you can put a flood of chickens and chicks in the background since once i had over 70 chickens at once (but i sold a butt-ton of the population recently) she is one of the 3 crash survivors. so she has the synthread outfit. also toolbelt is modded items and all it basically has is a hammer, a axe, and a pickaxe.

I picked 3 of my favourite colonsits in my sizeable main colony, although you obviously don't have to do all 3 if you don't feel it.

Additional details: Designated Sharpshooter. Huntsman has more confirmed kills than any other colonist I've ever had. Alternates between his charge rifle and masterwork sniper rifle. He's a bit twitchy and distant at times, but he's not let us down yet.

Additional details: We're not quite sure about Young. She's grumpy, but when you see her giggling like a maniac as she sprays lead into a hoard of tribals... It's something else. And she is damn proud of that minigun. She's our jack-of-all-trades, and mostly keeps busy cooking, carving stone, or laying bricks.

If you don't wind up drawing all three of these guys, I don't have any special preference on which you pick. I think they're all pretty fun, and they've definitely developed clear personalities over the course of this colony's growth. And thank you! This is a really cool thing you're doing.

Additional details: The chief of the tribe, Val was raised by a mad scientist and picked up his obsession with technology. Has single-handedly brought the tribe from neolithic to a sort of anachronistic techno-medievalism where everyone wears plate armor and has guns. He traded for it in the first month of our colony in exchange for the luciferium in an ancient danger room, and has been a nigh-unstoppable one man army ever since.

Additional details: Immediately insisted on being referred to as Mayor after having founded the colony. Kind of a jerk, but also very handy and managed to seduce the colony's hottest female by building her a house. The colony's master tailor. Held the colony together in the early days, but nobody really likes him. Has developed bad hearing in his old age.

Mayor's wife and the only one who really tolerates him.

Colony name: Andacheda Caverns

(Pawns and character sheets at image above. I actually don't have their original save due to A15-->A16unstable shenanigans  :-\ but re-created them as best I could. Well, also because the colony was mostly ransacked.)

The Skyfall clan takes its name from grandmother Gabriela, a warrior whose own body was built into weapons [bionic eye and arm], and who fell from the sky in a rain of fire. She spoke to our tribe of endless wars among the stars, to which she had no intention of returning, and we were frightened; for this was a woman who carried a weapon that flung lightning and armor that resisted our finest steel, so surely nothing but destruction could be had among those stars. Nor could she possibly be safe to keep among us. Many wished nothing to do with her, but our revered shaman Bidu fell in love with her and brought her among us. She accepted our ways, but we have never forgotten that a demon bides within our tents.

Their daughter Anda was no more than passing strange, flitting like a butterfly from one passion to another, never satisfied with traditional arts, but never resisting or questioning our most deeply held faiths, as her mother had. We thought, for a time, that perhaps their blood could become a blessing to our tribe, for Anda brought joy to our people. When she married Cheda, the most blessed of our sons, we anticipated their children's arrival with great hope.

But to our dismay, their twin daughters increasingly resembled their grandmother in temperament as they grew; there was no hunt great enough to satisfy Diana's lust for death, no poisonous weed that Persephone would not bring into our gardens. The pair ever threatened our people with their dangerous desires and their refusal to obey the counsel of our elders. It was clear to us that they could not be allowed to remain among us, and so upon their adulthood, we led them past the furthest fires and commanded them to never return.

We do not regret turning them out, but we paid a high price for it. We hoped that their grandmother would follow them into exile, and had prepared ourselves that their parents and younger brother might as well. But when Cheda's own parents, our most respected matriarch and finest craftsman, chose to pack their tent and follow, we grieved mightily.

Our scouts report that they settled a nearby valley, sheltered on three sides by the mountain. For some years, we received reports on their lives - to our relief, they showed no signs of leaving their new homestead. A grave was dug, with the skyfallen woman inside; we sighed with short-lived relief, until our scouts witnessed Diana roaming their lands with her grandmother's cursed weapon, casting lightning upon even the smallest of squirrels that could have fallen to a single stone. Until they found heartsbane and poison-mallow spreading outward like ripples on water, Persephone's cultivated seeds blown on the wind ever closer to our own lands.

We spoke for many seasons on what we could do to protect our people, but could come to no agreement, until the scouts reported new graves - the most innocent among them, the brother, the elder craftsman. So few among them left to keep the twins upon whatever leash they managed to yet hold! We felt we had little choice left to us. We sent our stealthiest to the ancient ruins, to open the doors for the ancients' creations of steel and fire, to lay a trail that would lead them to the demons' valley. They watched as the machines laid waste to the fields and downed every soul in sight, leaving Diana bleeding out into the weeds. They watched the machines enter the house, and they waited.

But the machines did not emerge. No: who came forth from the caves but Persephone, oil-stained and limping, knife in hand. She laid fingers to her grandmother's neck briefly, bowed her head, and moved on. For her sister, she did the same - but instead of walking on, knelt down, tore strips from her clothing and healroot from the ground, and began to bandage her. Our scouts crept closer, thinking to take them by surprise and finish this - but Diana's voice came clear, her eyes met theirs, and her hand reached for the gun. It could not be risked. Perhaps infection would kill them. Our people retreated.

The valley was still and quiet some time after that. We kept a watchful eye, but saw no one emerge. When the moon had grown to fullness and faded again, we felt sufficient time had passed, and that surely this was over; we sent our hardiest warriors inside.

No one was there. No bodies lay inside, nor blood on the floor, nor food in any baskets. Graves had been dug in a back garden, accounting for all the family but the twins.

The demons live, we know not where, and terror grips our hearts.

Additional details: The original rich Glitterworld explorer that wanted to experience what life truly is. Needless to say she got it. Dropping down onto this rimworld at the prime age of 18 she learnt to toil the land, construct structures and handle a gun. A far cry from her upbringing. But now after 4-5 years on this hellish world she now yearns to explore the stars again. This time not alone.

Additional details: The beast master of the group. She single handely trained all the elephants, muffalos and the rhinoceros to protect the group. Is the reason we survived infestations early on with the bravery of her animals. Also was one of the first colonists i just thought of as useless early on when i just had Ellie and another colonist who could haul. She is quite the crack shot now.

Those are lovely :D. It's a shame my colonist Brett died of a heart attack during the caravan trip that was responsible for buying all Uranium they needed to build their ship to escape the planet :(.
