It's a Steam issue, not a game bug, working on getting it resolved with them. For now 64-bit is just removed since it made no difference for almost all players anyway. Thanks for reporting!
Hey when you put it back could you make a steam properties flag or something to set it 64-bit to default? Not only do you have to select it each time but if you click to launch Rimworld form anywhere else it launches 32 bit.

I did some performance comparison and the main difference is that you get higher FPS where it would be dropping some and it takes more to get it to start dropping. (I run at 165fps for example).

Tynan you are fantastic. Knowing that you really actually try to get into the mindset and understand the players point of view makes me so happy. There's a lot of feedback I want to give but I feel like it wouldn't be understood or relevant or I just have anxiety about sharing it. I'm hesitant to give an opinion on something because even with a lot of work trying to draw a picture of what I'm thinking in someone else's head, I feel like it's a waste of time since the majority probably won't get it and disagree which ruins any chance I have of making an impact.

I get so stuck on sorting and formatting my own feedback too. I have issues writing so I have to go back, restructure, trim, and edit things before posting to ensure I don't drown my own message in detail (like right now!)

I've made several attempts to post feedback since I've been following EVERY change and in the end posted nothing.

Tynan.... would it be ok for me to PM you feedback directly, including my opinions?

This happens to me.  I have a very nice brand new mouse and high end gaming mousepad to match it.  I've noticed it happens when I'm dragging with the middle mouse button and there is a tiny loading blip.  It seems to happen when a new letter / event / notification are popping or about to pop.  If I'm currently using the middle mouse to drag to a new location when it occurs it will hiccup for the tiniest of micro seconds then shoot my cursor/screen waaaaaaay far away in the direction I was dragging to right after it hits.

Huh, I have this too pretty sure, just figured my mouse is garbage.
Ahh that's been annoying me too. Yea, watching on my fps graph it appears that there are occasional stops FPS every XX seconds (somewhere between 10 and 60?) and if you are panning across the screen with middle click you teleport across the screen instantly when it happens. If you manually lower the FPS by say running  a gpu testing utility in the background so it's 25-40fps instead you get extreme acceleration moving you around really fast.

Also scrolling in and out with zoom has no smooth scroll time and makes it look stuttery/low framerate even it it is perfectly locked at the cap (165Hz @ 164fps G-Sync here).

Medical tab is actually bugged, if you try changing categories in it, it can freeze up the UI until you click out of it.

Bumping for update. Just needs a small tweak to work again.

I feel like it breaks how things were going for me. Using dev mode to spawn food or kill a raid is off limits (cheating). I guess can live without berries until they regenerate by themselves - (although what I was looking for was a way to change the thingdef in my save from raspberry to berry which is what broke them).

Is there any way to repair the walls in dev mode?
Just like cheating is no good, my pawns needing to repair all walls breaks game authenticity for me as well. I hope you understand where I'm coming from.

Hi! I'm really enjoying my game and want to continue, but since these two updates berry bushes have disappeared and all my wooden walls have become damaged from an HP change. I think my pawns may have some damage changes to their current injuries too from some newer melee update...? It's all in the log. (I disabled moody so it wouldn't fill the log with errors, they're benign).

Any help would be greatly appreciated! I can follow instruction as well, I can learn anything technical with ease. I'm not familiar with dev mode either, but again I can learn. I've tried to start a new save probably 5 times now and I never make it past the first day before losing interest - I just can't forget this colony! I HAD SERIOUS PLANS!!!!!!

Here as well, 1.0.1939 x64.

The more things in the menu, the less FPS!
I get roughly:
27fps with 6 right click options. GPU usage goes from around 30% -> 2%
48fps with 4 right click options.
58fps with 2 right click options.
164fps SOLID with no right click. That is what I am capped at. I have a 165Hz 1440p display.

CPU usage drops as well, but it looks like a rendering issue involving GPU with lower CPU usage as a side effect of lower FPS.

I hope this makes it easier to figure out @Tynan if you haven't already. (You probably have). :)

During a fight a visitor was caught in crossfire and fainted. Since that was 50% of the visitor group they started to flee. That's normal. However, the downed visitor instantly revived themselves to flee?!

I really wanted to patch her up and see if I can give a gift but now she's going to bleed to death on her way back home..

It's Windows 1709, nothing to do with Rimworld. I can see the same behavior in web browser vsync tests. Hopefully this will explain a lot of other peoples issues. (And be fixed soon). I will post again if I find a reliable workaround.
