"Development Hell" is when the game is still supposed to be being developed and has seemingly stopped, not when the game is being worked on "slowly."

QuoteNightlies simply don't count

Yes, they do. See above- Development Hell is when the game appears to stop completely. They've been making changes that have broken and unbroken things from day to day, and so they have been making them to the nightlies. See also: this game's changelog is pretty much daily from what I can see.

And I still don't know where you get the idea that Starbound's stable releases don't support mods. If you're talking about modding nightly releases, I'm not sure why you think that it *would* support mods for more than a day or two. O_o

I'll stop being off-topic and pedantic now, but it seems like you're bashing Starbound for being developed wrong.

*has to go to places now and will therefore not be on forums*

Ideas / Re: Preview of what your colonists will look like

A word of warning: Prepare Carefully does not always duplicate current colonists perfectly.

Example: Pacer has the straight line body type. Same backstory in PC, she gets an average-buffish one.

I mean no offence by this but you come across as a little "pushy" in your post. I would read it back and imagine how a community (who are quite a happy friendly bunch) would take it. (friendly tip :))

...yea, now that I look at that again, it probably was. In that case, I am a silly silly person.  ;D

That wasn't to me, right? I'm sorry if I was being pushy, it kinda bugs me when people seem to be misrepresenting stuff. Unless it was a completely different Starbound. I'm talking about this one, for clarification- I'll remove the link, if that's a problem. :)

Warning: link. http://playstarbound.com

And if that wasn't to me at all, I'm a silly silly person and sorry for that as well.  :P

I wouldn't have thought it was directed to you. I think it is referring to the original post.

Starbound, if we're talking about the same one, didn't make mods cease to work. Unless you mean they don't work on the unstable/nightly builds? Also, it's not in development hell. They post every couple of days talking about what they've been doing...

We're talking about different Starbounds, aren't we. >_<

At the moment I have four ladies with positive bedroom traits. Am I correct in guessing that they're all straighter than a quiver full of arrows at the moment and that's why they're not getting together?  :P

Stories / Re: Your favourite colonists
November 06, 2014, 09:36:01 PM
Mine was and is Pacer. The first colony I had I just wanted to mess around. Even with Phoebe on the lowest difficulty... really hard circumstances sometimes. Phoebe LOVED the dry thunderstorms, and the area had almost no metal. I was stuck with wood.

The second day, Felicia set a fire twice because she kept trying to cook before that area was roofed. Pacer put out both of them. When the base was almost consumed by a fire started in a dry thunderstorm, Pacer risked her life putting it out. Felicia had to be woken up and told to get her lazy self over there. Felicia is an idiot.

When Felicia decided that messing around was more important than, I don't know, TENDING THE FREAKING PLANTS, and there was a bit of a famine... Pacer got out there so early and just kept going, almost starving herself as she harvested what berries we could find. She almost went mad from the hunger, but she kept going. Forever putting the colony before herself. Did I mention that she's a pessimistic clerk?

She stood in the fire without getting burned. She just kept putting it out. Felicia destroys things and Gizmo doesn't care about anything but research, but Pacer keeps going.

Through fire and famine and thunder, Pacer keeps going. Pacer always keeps going.

(I just wish there was a way to save colonists for later use. Pacer deserves to continue.)
