Never used animals for anything besides hauling. Tamed a few alpacas and found out about the wonders of alpaca fur. Now I'm mass producing fur and alpacas what I wish to know is how long they take to start producing fur from birth.

Trade ships use to be a thing now it seems like they are gone completely. Its been 4 years and I have yet to see even 1. I know their around I got a few on another game. Is there some way to increase the chance of them spawning in? Something besides a mod would be nice.

This mod would be the shit if the turrets had a range inwich they couldnt shoot if something got too close. I had 5 of them lined up and a raider got too close so all 5 shot him my colonists blew themselfs up.......

I never saw it as a problem. Just surround your base in the middle with stone walls they cant destroy those and then barbwire around that to kill any who try. I have yet to find it difficult to build in the middle.

Just becarful i somehow surrounded my main building with a moat and 29 poeple ended up starving since they couldnt cross it to get food.....

Just posting this since it pissed me off what the fuck is with the tribals? I was on day 15 with randy i was doing good with 9 people since slavers were being very given then BAM CURVE BALL 35 tribals........I can understand 15 hell even 20 but 35? Tribals seem to spawn a bit too much.

Get a good computer and play at 900000. The map is hugh so raiders landing on you should never happen hasent happen to me yet.

If you play the map i do at 900000 squares having fast transportation would be nice. It doesnt lag now though i can only imagine what trains would do to it.

A landmine all you would have to do is make charges automaticlly dentonate when raiders get close. That way you wouldn't have to try and time it with the fuse.

Vehicals would be awsome in this game especailly if you can use bigger maps it would help poeple move around. Maybe in the future add cars and trucks with guns like tecnicals with 50.cals that would make raiders more of a threat. Even go farther making it so you have to research how to make wheels and car parts maybe locate oil on the map and make fuel. Then having to store it in fuel barrels that could also be used as explosives. Thats whats nice about rimworld right now the possible mods that could be made is just unbeleivable.
