What I mean by this is that every piece of furniture and the walls all start with steel. It's mostly a pet peeve of mine that they don't start in wood, so if someone does decide to make this, no rush.

I recently just pre-ordered the Galaxy edition, can't wait to play it on may 9th! I can't wait to play it! Imagine having games like EU 4 and Stardrive 2, and a  bit of HOI, then you have stellaris! I think my favorite feature is of course the life-span of every pop/leader! I know one thing for sure is this picture is gonne be my first Xeno! :D

What are all of you excited for?

Ideas / Idea how rimkids would work.

So a big factor people say that makes it so rimworld cant have kids is the aging process because it would take so long to get a working colonist.

My idea however (albeit) unrealistic is to have it like the sims. When they are born they are either just food eating machines that sit in a crib for a year or two and then they would be a teenager, and then another season or two and they would be adults.

Just my idea, would love to see kids in rimworld, would really add to my no-raid farming colonies! :D

Yes I know there was a self healing mod a long time ago, but I would love an updated one, because as of currently that one doesn't work. Skullywag was the last one to make it. And I cannot seem to find it any other mod packs, especially since I have all the mods I love, and this is the only one I want/need to add. Thanks to anyone who is willing to do this for me!

In the picture you can see my favorite colonist ever, achieved by recruitment I think. He almost died because of the flu at one point in time about half a rim-year back. What's your oldest colonist?

I really hope this is eventually a thing! Imagine, 3 lone spacecraft survivors land on an ice sheet, the only food source is meat, and 2 of the 3 survivors are allergic to meat! It isnt rimworld without low morals am I right?

Personally I love to just make a colony with a no raid storyteller and just live it out until everyone dies by fallout or disease or rabid animals!

I really hope i'm not the only one that does this...

So I have 11 Colonists and 2 prisoners. Any time visitors come, I want to try and recruit some of them, but they leave after 2 seconds? Any thoughts?

So I know that you can survive at least a few days without a liver before the toxin buildup kills you, so I was wondering if someone could make a mod like this. I hate when a colonist or a hostile gets shot in the liver and just instantly dies! And it also sounds dumb, but say if a colonist's heart gets destroyed, they could survive within the time-span of a rim hour. Just long enough that they MIGHT have enough time to get a new heart installed. :) Thanks for looking at this! :D

Is there a Trait I can use to make it so people don't mind living together in a barracks of some sort? Or even a mod? Or Is this planned by Tynan at some point? Because it would make sense that if all you colonists where space marines or something that they would be used to living in a barracks.

Wouldn't it be great to do a 1 person play through? But then your colonist gets shot and he/she slowly bleeds to death? I would love a mod where they can grab some medicine and hop into a med-bed and heal themselves! (Healing would take x2 longer per. wound) I would code this my self, but i have no idea how. Thanks to anyone who can do this! :D

We all know that during the life of our colonies, we all care and love at least one of colonists, and always try to keep them safe, (especially during prisoner executions!). So here's my proposal: Make some sort of item, or even just a button, that designates a leader for your humble (or not-so-humble) colonies. This could be something like a crown, or a piece of clothing, or as previously stated; a button that says "This iz colony leeder" I would love to see this, it would definitely add to the feeling of my farming colonies and other's militaristic (or cannibalistic) colonies! Thanks!
