you can use them as windows too (they don't even leak temperature through
can shoot over them, and you'll rarely end up in situation where you draft colonist in the battle station and they've got no weapon =P

All in all I find them extremely useful!

That is definitely awesome, but it is sooo wrong!

It is a bit of an exploit, but at the same time it's not quite as cheesy as an embrasure. For example, I bet a grenade can find its way onto the other side of that thing.

tables, and equipment racks do not provide any cover. once the turrets are down, the raiders can shoot / throw rite over them too
