Hunting animals

Sorry to make a thread for a simple question, but I haven't noticed a "Simple questions/answers" topic...*wink*

What happens if you hunt all the animals on a map? Do new ones come in? Do animals reproduce?

Animals arrive via the map edge until the population normalises.

Pretty much you can continue hunting on a regular basis. Only thing is on larger maps it might get a bit hard to hunt animals that just arrive at the edges of the map. Best hunt them once they migrate further inwards.

My habit is to hunt entire herds of muffalos at once. I don't think they respawn unless the entire herd is killed off. Not 100% sure though.
