[W|0.5.492] Alpha 5 - Spaceship Part appeared twice

Hi

I have tried searching the forum about this subject but failed to find and answer and I'm not sure if it's a bug or my own misunderstanding so have decided to put it in general discussion.

I am at day 80 in a Chill Callie play through, and have just had a 2nd Spaceship part crash land. I could be wrong but I was under the impression that this was one off event that enabled the collection of the AI Persona Core to complete the colony spaceship.
Is this a bug or does the Spaceship Part event keep on occurring at intervals until the colony manages to escape?

well I assume the AI core is destructable, so it wouldnt hurt to have multiple opportunities to get it.

also you should build a ship with 2 AI cores so it can have a split personality.
