[Mini-Mod request] Fire

I've gotten 3 meteor showers playing and they light the entire map up..... 4 gigs of ram isnt enough to support all of that but If I pause the lag stops so I am lead to believe that non-animated fire could help /:

My meteor mod? I could chuck a version up where they dont make fire if youd like it?
