Probably something stupid but cant find out why certain parts of my rockbase are unroofed :-/

3a and 3b in my first screenshot for example are unroofed and i swear it used to be ok. Basically all halls and open areas in that part of the base are unroofed, only the small chambers with a door (like bedrooms etc) are 'indoors'. As far as i see there is no opening towards the outdoors. Part 1 (between the 2 doors) is indoors, so it's not coming from there. Area 2 is outdoors, but is not connected to the rest, so should be no influence either

like bedrooms etc
On my 2nd screenshot i show the 'no roof' area, looks ok no?

Please, any advice?

it's a bit hard to see in the pictures. But here is my guess. In the picture below, I've marked a place that looks unroofed. If an area is openly connected to an area that doesn't have roof over it, the whole room becomes "unroofed".

But check that spot and see if that's it.

Ekarus

use debug to turn on the "visible roofs" option and it'll show you anywhere that's unroofed.

Cant wait to see this base gets infested. :3 :3 :3

Thanks for the tips, will check with the debug tool when i get home

Btw, i'm doing my first playthrough, so i did not know of this infestation yet :-). Looks i will have to prepare for that!

A quick n' easy way to check for this is to unroof everything in your base then clear all the areas you want a roof to be...quick way to limit bug infestation spawn locations (except for overhead mountain of course) as well.
