Thanks for the effort, but if you get the time can you add descrioptions? Not like a paragraph or anything.. It's just nice to know what you're downloading. A sentence would suffice also you don't have to add the descriptions... I just thought that if you get the time you could do that.

It might be usefull,but since you are not the original author you cannot edit the main post,I'd be neater and prettier if the mod list would be kept in one post instead of 2 divided ones,just sayin'

actually this works just fine. Now all I have to do is copy and paste it. But I'm at work right now so it'll have to wait till I get home.

I personally think the desc should be the responsibility of the modder. The first three line of each mod should be a simple title, link and one-sentence no-nonsense description, which would really reduce the hassle of maintaining this list.

Agree that alphabetized is nice, although I'm also of the mindset of sorting by release date (which makes it easier to updated, and easier to follow new additions).

Alphabetize I should be able to do but adding a description i'm too lazy for.

Thought i would ask it here. Does anybody thought about bringing back fertilizer pump? It was the only way to get rid of swamps? Maybe if it created stone instead of farmable soil.

Check my signature, GARDENing. It has a buildable soil/marsh.
But it's kinda OP now.

I second that. It fact we could just copy this list. Of course it would need formating. I think I could whip up an Excel sheet that you could just add mod details and it would automatically format it appropriately for the wiki. Then all you would have to do it click sort, then copy and paste. What do you think?

I've already volunteered to maintain the wiki as soon as all my update work for my mods is done (I just finished today) and would appreciate that Excel sheet. I've been using a simple .txt file to do it so far. It would also be nice if someone would join me in volunteering to help maintain that wiki.

Here you go. It's currently set to reproduce exactly what's currently on the wiki.

To use;
  - Update the data on the second page then sort it.
  - What you need to copy will be on the first page.
  - Make sure you copy enough lines on the first page to match the number of lines on the second page
  - Then copy it all into into Word. You need to do this to get rid of quotes it would otherwise add.
  - Then copy from Word into the wiki and it should paste correctly (you don't need to save the Word document).

Note: this Excel sheet doesn't add the top of the table or anything that follows it. It only does the lines about the mods.

Lol. Whoops. That's what happens when I stay up way later than I intended to watch a documentary and then fix a mod. I was way tired and apparently clicked on my other mod thread to copy the address. yeah not familiar with kingsoft, but I was thinking a concatenation of "",cell2," (http://",cell1,") with cell1 being the URL and cell2 being the mod name. Copy and paste values, then you are good to go.

I don't really see it's that necessary. It's clear enough. But... if you don't mind someone else doing it for you, here is an Excel sheet that creates the links for you. I assume Kingsoft can open Excel docs. Just copy and paste the first column.

Well for what it's worth I appreciate the effort to keep this list going..takes a bit of time to do, and that time spend saves me 20 mins of searching. I think a sticky might be worthy here. 8)

Sure, Rimworld has been on my PC since Oct 2013. I have played Vanilla, heavily modded, taken breaks all together ect. Either find a purpose to the mods, set up crazy scenarios and test whatever, or whatever strikes your fancy.

There is always taking a break to return in an alpha or 2, that's what I did, and now I'm fully back into the swing of things. Good luck figuring it all out!

The link for "A9 Medical Training" is broken, it doesn't open a thread, it just downloads the mod.

The Stargate faction mod at https://ludeon.com/forums/index.php?topic=7869.0 has been updated on page 5, just not by the original modder so the title still reads A8, however I can confirm the update does work.

Sorry, I wasn't trying to be rude. It's just that this list isn't doing anyone a favor, since it's harder to read than the "Release" forum itself. He took his time to update the list and that's awesome, but if it isn't formatted nobody is going to bother reading through it.

I edited a bit to make it more "digest" :) and use less characters (~17k/20k char. / to fit in the forum limits better as more mods will be updated to A11)

Seriously all props goes to InfinityKage  ;)
i just used a notepad++ script to cut some words and automatically replace other (like tags) before re-reading it for editing (takes me roughly 5min and i guess he had to spend a lot more time than that while listing all of that :p )

Should work with any ore now. Added Mining Brush which allows one click circle mining designations. Added the Strip Miner - strip mining by dragging. use 8 4 5 6 to change spacing between the strips.

A message to everyone. I don't keep this list updated because I like to. I do it because no one else was and I thought it would be useful. I originally made this for my own personal use and decided to share it simply out of the kindness of my heart. That being said. If you think you can do it better than by all means let me know. I'll send you the spreadsheet I use and you can take over the mantel. I'm lazy as hell anyway and would love less work to do.

You do a good job. At current there is no better way to do this then what your doing now. Unless it became a rule that all mods require to comment on here or like include the update date on there title. I still believe these should be stickied as they provide a great help for people.
Perhaps steam integration will allow mods to be subscribed too. That's a bit off though :D :D

At first I was thinking about editing the wiki page but the first step is to establish a spreadsheet for easier editing and sorting. Mai by I'll do it after that.
