So i played as a tribe on cold climate planet, my base was nicely developed until i got a food problems, no berries, no electricity, no animals, everything was harvested or hunted.. So what i want ask...

Will be possible to avoid nomadic game play, and just scavenge other hexagons and bring food to main base ? Actually one base can be made, and only options is a resettle, but what about temporary hunting camps, or others hunting grounds. or just simply option allowing back to previous base ?

Grishnerf

you can have a max of 5 bases.
you need to change that in the Options.
1 base is default Setting.

Not sure i understand your response. Does this mean that you can only load 5 hexs and then that's it forever or are you forced to delete the changes you made to a hex to to ensure  you can invade another hex  once you get to 5?

O Negative

You start with one "home hex."
By default, you would have to abandon that hex before you could settle somewhere else.
By changing the setting to 5 from 1, you can settle up to 4 more hexes before being required to abandon a "home hex."

You can always invade other bases for violent purposes.
You just can't settle there if you've already reached maximum base capacity, haha.

Hopefully that helps.

Sorry I haven't had the time to play for as much time as I want yet but I'm wondering if you have two colonies, are you able to switch between the two colonies and build some at the first and then in the other? If so, does the game pause or does the ai take over?

Both colonies are loaded at the same time. You can switch between them instantly. And no, you can't pause one and play just the other.

Aw that's so cool! Thanks for the answer! :)
So what happens if you only focus on one colony. The AI starts building stuff or does it act like normal when you don't issue any new orders?
