well i survived two drones in one game, neither crashed and made a ship part. I think the key is to take every one off of mining and make sure everyone is sleeping in beds and has a nice floor and a big room with lights. Unfortunately about 8 mechanoids came a blew up my mostly completed ship while my colonists died trying to defend it shortly after the second drone

Another massive randy random colony one year in, not sure if its bugged or what but the raiders have not advanced past pilas and haven't had much of a chance. i think i have only had one or two deaths in the colony (boomrat raids). I have completely eradicated all of the poverty grass on the map and secured only a emergency reserve of agave and berries, any animals that come on to the map shortly starve and are collected. I have refined all of the slag and rock debris on the map also. I believe I have 115 colonists.

You should NEVER build solar panels without at least 1 gap, preferably 2 or more tiles between them (because fire can "jump" 2 tiles), if it starts burning (lightning strike, short circuit?) you can't put out out the fire and all the solar panels in the cluster are DOOMED, unless it starts raining.
I seemed to live on a rainy planet, not to mention having 80 priority 1 firefighters

definitely have over 50 because occasionally Ill have more than that idle. Maybe Randy will just keep causing melt downs and massive raids of people with grenades until i go back below that threshold. It is a bad situation when a colonist with a mini gun goes on a rampage, half because of excessive friendly fire incidents when taking them down. lol
one more question, how do you use molotovs manually? I need to burn a quarter of the map to get rid of some bodies.

I have been having tons of problems with my colonists not eating, and therefore going insane. I have almost 70 colonists and am playing randy random with no mods, I am really confused why they are so slow to go in and eat some food. There is plenty there, I have simple meals always on hand not to mention 4000 strawberries. Do they develop tastes for fancy things as the game goes on or what? what can I do to make them stop going insane?
Also industrial traders, any keys to making them show up?
