Awesome concept!

Are you going to try to get a playable version and then add from there? Or wait until you have a bunch of stuff then release?

It deserves a thread so that the "collective intelligence" of the community can weigh in on it.

Is the game ready for you now / as of alpha 9?

Are there crucial systems needed that can't wait or that can't be covered by mods?

I would say that water is the most crucial system, followed by a more robust interaction system with other groups on the rim world, but I already see some mods working on that content.

It would be nice if this mod had a team dedicated to keeping it updated, or if that isn't possible, then a new "depth of play" mod is needed.

What about steel bar doors so that food and talk can occur without the door being opened at all?

Truly amazing!

This is why it's time to bite the bullet and release on Steam.

Modding can take the game so much farther than standard development and modding communities are a function of install base.

Besides, if you could press a button and make 10 million dollars, wouldn't you?

I lost a good colony start to that I think. I'm not sure, but my dude was hunting and all of a sudden 5 visitors rage my colony down. I though they were just being smartly aggressive.

Being able to teleport prisoners off RimWorld for a profit, but having to build an elaborate space ship at huge expense for the colonists. Why not just buy a ticket?

It's a jarring discontinuity between the lore and the game. It would be better to move all trade to the planet surface as part of an overall enrichment of the "metagame" including the world map and other colonies and visitors.

An AI generated colony would allow for something other then military defense against raids,

players would have a target for an offensive raid, either on the same map or moving to other maps in the same world.

It's incredibly annoying that a bed cannot be adjacent to a wall to get the spacious mood bonus. Every bed I have ever known has been placed against a wall.
