Cannot draft/cancel commands for colonists randomly

I was doing amazing, with a good iguana farm, about 500 food, and everyone was safe. I told one of my colonist to start working on making bricks out of chunks, since there was nothing else to do. After it gets to night, I go to click him, and suddenly, I cant tell him to stop, or draft. It does this for ALL my saves. I have a few mods, but this didn't effect the problem. It just came out of nowhere. I tried to look online, and it looks like no one else is experiencing this problem. I dont want to have to restart all the way from the beginning! :'(

Here is the link to the picture of the problem here http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=923842019

Please can you post your log file. Details on where to find it can be found in the following thread. https://ludeon.com/forums/index.php?topic=513.0

I have also moved this to mods bugs as that seems the most likely cause at the moment. If a vanilla bug is identified then the thread will be moved back to bugs.

It's usually preferable to post the log file as an attachment to avoid elongated posts (I've edited yours to put the log file text inside a code box).

There's one error in the log that I can see. Unfortunately your log doesn't contain the names of the mods you are using because they are just referenced by a numbers instead (due to how Steam workshop works IIUC). So can you please list the names of the mods you are using. There should be 4 mods according to the log (workshop ID's 903253578, 918226861, 918200645, and 918227266)

Also can you please confirm:-

1 - If you can start a new vanilla game without the missing draft button.
2 - If you can start a new game with these 4 mods without the missing draft button.

dragonquester

I have just tried starting a game with both mods and no mods, and they both have the drafting button, maybe somehow my old save got corrupted while I was playing it. But it sucks that I might have to start completely over, lose my 500 food, my great progression, and my pawn that somehow has MY name and MY dream job

Kalamity

I'm suffering the exact same fate. Whilst the old save doesn't seem broken apart from the shortkey, colonist icons disappearing and being unable to be used, this is quite inconvenient during raids or turmoil. Sending them on a caravan and allowing them to return doesn't resolve the issue yet upon receiving a new member, the new member's hotkeys work and show. I've tried several things in developer mode yet that doesn't seem to change the issue.

@ Kalamity - I'm not sure if this is the same issue as the OP is reporting.

Can you please clarify what you mean by "shortkey" and "hotkeys" in the extracts of your post? (I've bolded them for emphasis). Are you perhaps referring to the colonist bar that is (usually) displayed at the top of the screen? And is the problem you are having that this is missing?

If so then can I please ask what screen resolution you are using. As the colonist bar will usually not display if you have a resolution height lower than 768 pixels.

Kalamity

The colonist information GUI in the  left corner's shortkeys / hotkeys are missing and won't work, to the right of it - as indicated in the shown picture of the OP - the icons aren't present. Though I believe it is due to modifications rather than screen resolution, as I'm using the maximum setting.

Calahan

Thanks for the clarification. So as you said originally, this does sound like the same problem the OP is having. If it is caused by a mod (likely), then perhaps you and the OP can compare mod lists to see if you have any matches. Unfortunately the OP's log file only lists the mods in relation to their Steam workshop ID numbers, rather than name, which makes it impossible* to know what the name of the mod actually is (*without trawling through the Steam workshop trying to find a number match).

Kalamity

As to avoid miscommunication, I've taken few screenshots. These are all the mods I have active at the moment.
With the exception of 'Animal Incest' as it isn't up to date yet.
