I'm hoping for a better mechanic than just straight digits. I'd love to see stats like Range, Lethality Range, Mechanics, then extra denominations such as Plasma, Melts Metal, Armor Piercing, etc.

Not only that, I'm hoping for module systems for controlling sprite art placement, like where items are, on characters. And then animation sheets for positions on character frames, or even code for it. That'd be great!

Regardless of the developers intentions, this game should have some kind of xenos threat. But fear not, modding can surely handle this.
Facehuggers, here we come. I'm hoping for some basic support for parasitic infestation mechanics, so animals can infect colonists with eggs that can explode them and grow more animals.
With only that modders can handle the rest.

Very well done. My only suggestion are more branching, or sub branching especially for things like cybernetics. I want more than just 2 implant limit. Id like even different choices having different effects. And it should require a doctor with high doctor skill AND engineering or construction skill to do the surgeries each with varying results (such as robot madness)

Re-animation Puppet Station- devil technology from the planet Omicronus Perseus 12, used to bring back the dead in state of the art puppet bodies, imbues user with:

Cold
Inferred Vision
etc
Restrictions:
social
caring
Research (maybe different bodies can remove this limitation, maybe only some treatments for the dead brain can be made to revive it fully, or only half making it like robocop.)

I agree with the OP, however OP, realize these are such early builds that all of our complaints are unfounded until later into development. Great example being games like Project Zomboid, who to this day have 0 NPCs on their new build rehash.. and are considering bumping the price to $15 USD. Which is a joke quite frankly. The game has very few features as it stands. You can't even play as a zombie with a nice metagame or anything yet. Why not just add more- I digress, you get the picture. This game has more features than that and is only in pre-alpha stage, why worry?
