I have some baby cows and bull, it took 3 season to give birth to them and i guess it will take them even more to grow to full adulthood so i can turn them into meat, i know chickens are the fastest growing animal but they don't yield that much of meat.

Since the data is already in the wiki, I wrote a quick query to list out the animals' gestation period and maturity period. The numbers are not guaranteed accurate, because the game changes so much... but if you point out any wrong data, I'll fix it.
The page is a sandbox and is subject to change, but not anytime soon.

You may need to click "... further results" to see everything.

Hope that helps.

Edit: I added a column for meat yield.

Out of curiosity, why didn't you just add the gestation period to the existing table instead of adding a new table? Having overlapping data in multiple places is much less convenient and harder to maintain.

I could have just added a new column to the Animals list, but it's already about max width, I don't want to make it start bleeding off the page. Maybe it already does for people with lower resolution screens. (It barely fits on mine at 1920x1080.) Animals have alot of stats, so the list is limited to what's (probably) most important. You can always find the info you're looking for the animal's individual page.

Also, this second query-based list is just temporary, only made it for this post. It's on my sandbox, it's eventually going to rewritten. And being query-based, there's zero work to update it. If the info gets changed on the animal's page, it's automatically updated in every query for it.

Thanks but what i want to know it's the exact number of days, i don't quite get the meaning of that 0.8 maturity age on cows  :(

Jimyoda

The unit of measure is years.
There's 60 days per game year. Multiply by 60 and you'll find a cow matures at 48 days.
I'll see about having the wiki show it in days - or maybe seasons. The unavoidable wrinkle is that after 14 days, the game doesn't show the age in days, it uses seasons or years.

Using years is fine.

Smaller animals are usually more food efficient (in real life at least). I once checked for Boomalopes/-rats (I use a mod where I can drain them) and it was true in this case, I suspect it is for other animals as too. The point being, cows might not be the best choice to turn vegans into meat.

Here is a spreadsheet I made that covers this, if anyone is interested.
