Macosx B18 black screen DRM free when trying to pass arguments

I tried searching but couldn't find it.

This works:

> open RimWorld1722Mac.app

Off course it's using my steam mod and configs which I don't want

This doesn't work and just gives me black screen:

❯ open RimWorld1722Mac.app --args -savedatafolder=SaveData

The Player.log of unity gives me this error over and over gain:

NullReferenceException: Object reference not set to an instance of an object
  at Verse.UI.ApplyUIScale () [0x00000] in <filename unknown>:0
  at Verse.Root.OnGUI () [0x00000] in <filename unknown>:0

(Filename:  Line: -1)

Tried also full paths and don't work either for the SaveData.

I know nothing about Mac's I'm afraid so I can't offer you any help with this issue. Although anyone who can help will likely be aided by you posting your full log file (as an attachment) rather than just that extract.
