I thought we could edit the stats of our character with our name, etc. I expected a lot more than just a name in the game, tbh. 15 euro is quite a lot for that. Or is it something they might add in the future? That you can customize your own character with your name and get a certain amount of skill points and add them to whatever you like (but like min. 5 skills need 3 points or something). This would be great and actually worth the money, tbh.
You're not paying 15 euros for your name in the game. You're paying 15 extra euros because you think the game deserves more money than they're asking, and in return you're getting your name in the game.
It's a pretty common thing in in-development funding; it's pretty much the model that Kickstarter works on.
Also what you describe was not the 'name in game' tier, but the 'backstory in game' tier. And this was about 40-50€ ;D
