Title: Creating a new humanoid race
Post by: BobbehNpropane on December 27, 2014, 07:46:11 PM
I've been playing rimworld for a good deal of time, and got curious about the modding scene. It seems like the mods that add new creatures define them as mechanoids for some reason, and when I delve into the files myself to try and define a new humanoid, there's no way to actually assign textures or the like to it. I may be overlooking some obvious detail/etc, but I can't figure out for the life of me how I'd assign it.

Isnt so easy.. for that you have to give them an humanoid thinktree.
What isnt possible.
Only with DLL modding.. and NO ONE likes that. (ok me dont like that.. because i dont can ;) )

The humanoids have more complex generation (compared to the others that are just a single sprite creatures)

so you'd really need the dll modding knowhow proper custom texture humanoids like berry said
