mod that increases the size of the map

The option is already implemented.
When you're about to launch a new world, just check the options.

I don't think there's a mod for that yet, i don't even think that Rimworld supports custom sizes for maps.

I think so.
But no worries, just be patient, Tynan might make bigger map sizes when the game is optimized.

Max size is higher in A3. It'll go up slowly, but I don't really recommend pushing the size a ton. There's not much reason; things are well-spaced between 200x200 and 250x250. Beyond a certain point stuff just gets too far apart, even ignoring the performance costs of big maps.

Can't we just part by part reveal the map? Like after a certain amount of time, the game will generate a new area?

Well the problem with that is, the game will have allot of performance problems and stuff

There is a high chance that a new alpha will be released this April

No I mean the game will randomise the date where more map will be revealed from time to time.
