some mods will not play

Hello, I have a little problem.
I would love to play with the "droid" mod... but if I put it in the mod folder and I start Rimworld up, I just get a black screen. If I start the game up and then put the mod in the mod folder after, the game will just show me an empty background.
I am able to run a few mods fine (like cannons mod) but if I try it with this one or the K9 one it will not work. I hope it makes sense. I'm Dutch so not the best in English.

are you using the alpha 5 or 5c with the latest downloads from the mods (btw as far as I know k9 has not been updated to alpha 5 yet)? and which OS?

I am running windows. With making sure that I ran the latest version, I seemed to have solve it.
I must have made a error with copying. So I guess this topic can close.
