You can use the Comms Table to call who you want to trade with you. If you prank call them too many times then the ships will stop coming or may even orbital bombard the colony.

Also they will stop coming if you keep calling them while pirates attack. Because then the Pirates attack them in space too!

The time in between calls and arrival will be 1 hour. And only like 3-5 calls can be made a lets say month.

Pass the Call limit then a convient space eclipse/storm is blocking comms off planet. Or far from where the colony is.

But For the main game we should have a feature to request certain ships.
