How to get name in game, into the game.

So I was approved in February and my guy never shows up.  How do I get him in?

Found it in the options said list names that you want to see in game.  The only issue is it has you type it in so in the cases I type incorrectly I wouldn't know it.

So my guy never showed up 5 hours into the game?  What am I missing here?

Enter your name ( last name or nick? ) in the option field, start a new game and random a few dozen times the character. He should appear at least once.

But, when did you enter your info? The name database will only be updated with the next alpha after that..

he means in the namepool while playing so raiders and the like, it think thats purely random, does it add a weight factor for raid pawns or just the character select screen?

Both iirc.
But it's only an increased chance, less so a 'guaranteed' one.
but I've never really seen by how much this increases the chances, but seeing as how the namepool has grown considerably and these posts tend to show up a bunch, I'd think it's time to increase that modifier.
