Ok, I have a saying in my colonies, "Don't hurt the prisoners in any way", I have that saying because prisoners are good for recruitment or for good will. If they break we kill or hurt them, however we don't harvest them because it keeps them from feeling like a spare parts bin. Less chance of breakdown or saying no to a recruitment.

Ok, so question...

I would like one of your mods, specifically the gun crafting mod, and I only have A10 and I can't get a new version for technical and economic reasons.  :o

Can I please have it in A10 not A12?

You know, I had problems with Mechs too. My first game in A10 started kind'a nice, no mad animals and no visible Mech areas. It was, however, too good to last. At some point I ran out of steel and I had to go mine some more steel. After a while of mining on of my guys got an "Ancient Danger" feeling and when I got to his position I saw some slate walling. Being naive, I had my guy dig though the wall, all of a sudden I got a message of "New Area Found" and it was red. I clicked on it as quickly as I could and it said that I opened an old Mech bunker, (or something), and I looked back at my guy and saw, for the firs time, Mechs. I was like "What the heck are those?" then I confirmed the message and sent my guy back to base, and as he ran they followed. The syther was in the lead of the chase and when I got my guy back I had another guy with a survival  rifle,. (because that was all I had besides a pistol and knife), and that guy was killed by the syther. Now I had the last two attack at once. The syther, sadly killed both of them and burned the beds. After that the Centipede finally came and it was game over... :'(      That ended my first encounter with Mechs and my first game!

The year is 3560... The first flight across the galaxy and back has been witnessed and people are wondering if they could do that. The next flight to the other end of the galaxy was to explore the new rimwolds. The explorers found mechanoids and they were friendly. They were created by a race of creatures that died before the first waking mechanoid was fully functional and an assembly line built more of them until there were no materials left. Time passes on and the year now is 4010. There are colonies of people on the rimworlds making lives for themselves and they worked with mechinoids for defense. On earth councils were corrupting to an empire. (I know, a little Star Wars story in there  :P ) Soon enough the leader commanded the rimworlders to give them all their goods or be killed by the military. At first the rimworlders were amused by this threat, but the mechonoids soon started turning on some of the colonies. The Earthens soon sent in blockades, many military men, mercenaries, and lots of mechanoids. The rimworlders soon lost supplies of good weapons, food, and hope as if they were rebellions to a "good" purpose. People on Earth were enraged and tried to stop it , but had to go underground to gain enough influence. 4050, the war is over and the Eartheners have won. people shut themselves in cyrosleep caskets and have mechonoids protect them. 5450, the underground groups begin to emerge after the Eartheners try to make progress happen by taking peoples' jobs away for machines to do it.

That's my idea of why they are there...  ;D
