I just checked in my own game and apparently Clubs and Shivs are the only melee weapons you can build out of stone blocks. Sorry.

I find that if they are in a grave you have to manually deconstruct it before they will cremate the body.
What I found works is build a small room beside the crematorium and create a stockpile just for dead bodies.

Perhaps. In my experience it is best to both restart the entire game (quit and relaunch rimworld) as well as create a new world when messing with mods or mod orders.

Do you not receive "Bad Will" (I can't remember if this is the right saying or not) for taming other factions animals? I know this is the case for killing them but have never actually tried taming them.

If you have enough guys, they will attack fast enough to prevent the centipede from ever attacking a colonist.
So shoot all the sensors and then grab everybody and club it down =)
I only tested with clubs and similar weapons, so i dont know about fists xD
