New biome/instance map: Ancient city/ruin

This biome would be called Ancient city or Ancient ruins. it would basically be just ancient structures filled with random objects and furniture. That would be the basics of how it looks. It would be less of a place to settle because of how scares resources are but for a quick settle to regroup and heal your pawns. However, you could still try live there if the player wanted to. For instance it would be likes small city block sorts like the ones from that one early future rimworld game. It would make fire fights interesting since you can have more strategic positions. Like funneling enemy wars dow an alley to kill the one by one or barricading your self in a room until night then kill them all while they're sleeping. A biome like this would add a lot of story now that alpha 16 is here.

this is quit an interesting idea,
those cities would be a nice change of paint and allows for new strategies.
Also their resources could be mostly hidden in ruins with special doors that need to ordered to be opened.

Would be a big fan of this, with the game evolving into something less insular and more global this would be fantastic.

Right now there is a pretty silly amount of ruins in your starting location, I would propose that we lower the chance of ruins existing inside your colonies immediate surroundings and have them occur in the great wilderness. Like traditional D&D "Dungeons".

Some interesting ones might be Bug-Nest, Ancient Cryo-Vessel, Robot-Factory. And maybe moving the AI ship crashes to an event that occurs on the globe rather than your base.

As long as the biome isn't a biome, but actually just a place you run across when your caravan travels.

Caravan has come across and abandoned city - keep traveling, settle, loot

three options just like if you pass a trader. Maybe looting has a possible downside like raiders having settled here but are out hunting and return while you are looting.

Also make these sites hard to find, like you have to travel through 100 different tiles (not with a specific caravan but in your colonies life) before they are possible to find.
