[W|0.8.657] Hydroponic simply wont work

I could not send colonist work on them no matter what (and yes they are not blocked from plant work).
With the new hotfix, it 1st happen with an old save but when i tried a new game it was still the same.
This is pretty major since my game is in the tundra

No mod where used

Same issue here.
Game was made before hotfix and only mod enabled is prepare carefully.

Hrm, I ran into this on vanilla Alpha 8, strange thing was, it was sudden, > 1 year into colony time.

I tried to upgrade to Alpha 8E (I love the notifier top left incidentally), loaded the save game, but no change, sudden stop to all hydroponics basins. Reconnecting cords, forbidding/unforbidding, power/unpower, even recreating the basins has no effect.

Is my save game fsck'd? =\

Ack, it's not the game, it's me. I hadn't realized the temperature had dropped below growing temperature (simply didn't catch it, as my base sprawled, heat started to drop, but not enough to see colonists breath).
