Ingame selection of a certain colonist prohibits other actions

I very much hope this is the right spot for this post. If not feel free to move it.

The problem I just witnessed when opening a save game from a couple of days before (I haven't played since) is, that once I select one colonist I cannot select anything else in the game anymore. Parts of the interface vanish as well. The only stuff you can do is pause the game via space bar and move around with w/s/a/d. This particular colonist seems to be in "recruited" mode if that helps with a solution of the problem. You can select everything else, colonists, walls, everything fine but this one guy (Yaroslav, see pictures). Giving orders like cut plants, build, abolish building etc. worked fine before clicking the guy.

I'm playing the newest version version of the game, no mods or anything and I didn't change anything in the game folder as well. Since the file is a couple of days old I cannot remember if Yaroslav was standing like that for a longer time before I saved and left the game. The incident was reproducable with the save game. When loading an earlier autosave everything is fine though, he went to a different spot to eat and all.

This is a screen shot of the game running fine (using the "broken" savegame). Everyone is doing their thing except Yaroslav who is the guy that screws up everything when getting clicked on.

This is a screen shot after clicking Yaroslav. You'll notice the missing interface.

I had the same problem a few times.
A quick fix is to select the stuck colonist together with another by using the selection box, then draft both into military service, after undrafting them the stuck colonist should work normally again. Maybe you need to give them a move order before undrafting... not sure about that anymore.

Ah, nice. Thanks a lot for the solution. I'll test it when I have time. Strange occurence nevertheless.
