How to upgrade when not in Steam?

Hi, I have bought RimWord and all its DLCs directly from you and I have access to the downloads through the corresponding SendOwl links. Now my question: when a new version of RimWorld comes out can I redownload the main game only or do I have to redownload all DLCs too? In general: what is the most efficient way of upgrading RimWorld when not using Steam?

From my experience, DLCs must be the same version of the game. So you have to redownload each part (core game and each DLC).

Thanks! This is what I thought. It would be nice though if the DRM free version would autoupdate itself
