Title: "Cheer Up" job
Post by: hector212121 on April 22, 2015, 03:05:28 PM
Basically, a job you can set that has someone with high Social just...go talk to the dude.

That's it.

Pretty easy, no?

Maybe make it a bill, so you can say "Chat this dude up when under X happiness."

Great idea. You could extend it a little further by having a "colony councilor" job that would automatically help with negative thoughts on your colonist, provided your councilor had sufficiently high social skills.

I think this isn't special or important enough to warrant a space in the already cluttered jobs overview, which is a policy the dev tries to follow (avoiding cluttering, that is).

But i like the idea of cheering up rimmers, so how about instead of a new job just for that we could use the warden job? It's very similar already, or perhaps use the joy system?

that'd be a fine job for all the Minstrels!
Give them something to do other than just clean all day long
