Here we are again! The time we come and ask: who among you is man/woman enough to be a tester for RimWorld Alpha 11 and possibly future versions beyond?
If you're willing to test and do the work involved in finding and properly writing up bugs, please post below and say so!
You should note, again, that this doesn't just mean 'play Alpha 11 early'. Don't apply if you're not willing to spend some time investigating bugs you find and writing clear reports about them. Testing is rewarding but it's not just playing games.
Please ensure your forum email matches your purchase email.
Thanks in advance!
I would love to, if you need more information just shoot me an email or pm.
I'd love to! I've been an addict since I found the game, it is exactly the sim I was looking for. I enjoy it so much, helping out by testing feels like a moral obligation.
Sign me up! I'd love to help make this awesome game better!
Sign me right up! I spend several solid hours playing Rimworld anyway and would love to help contribute to make it even better!

Will there be a specific list of things to try or will it be play it and find bugs?
I don't have much experience, how would bug reports be written?

Would want to know these 2 points as well.
Sign me up, Id love to help!!!
I would enjoy helping out, and writing up the bugs I find.
Everyone whose email address was actually listed as having bought the game has been added as a tester. Please go over to the public tester forum, read the
entire "read me first" thread (lots of people skip this and it gets embarrassing), and grab the game.
The call is still open to additional people.

The Read Me First thread better explains exactly how you go about doing this, but no, there usually isn't a specific list. Although sometimes an odd bug may pop-up that is hard to reproduce, and everyone gets asked to help try and find reproduction steps for that bug.

Here's a copy/paste of part of the Read Me First thread on the public tester forum regarding how to write and submit bug reports:
QuoteTry the game out, find bugs, and post them as threads here. Post one bug per thread. Before you post, check that the bug isn't present in a thread or in the Mantis Bugtracker (http://ludeon.com/mantis) first.
Bugs should be posted with reproduction steps. Don't just say something went wrong - isolate it and find the shortest sequence of actions to make it go wrong again. This way, I can reproduce the bug, which is always the first step to fixing it. Obviously there are cases where this isn't necessary ("The grenade icon is wrong"), but for bugs that require actions to create, always post repro steps.
Only post technical bugs. Balance change and feature requests should go on the forum - usually the public forum.
As noted above, please also post savegame files and output logs when appropriate.
Never test with mods active.
Happy to contribute to this process, if bodies are still needed.
Hi, I would not mind play testing.
I'd love to help out!
Happy to help if you still need bodies.
Love the game! Need to fill all this time since school ended.
If a test spot is still open I'd like to sign up.
Pretty awesome to help fix my favorite game. Sign me up!
I'd love to help out! I've spent quite a few hours playing this game, and I plan to spend many more, so I'm sure I could help finding a few bugs, even though I'm not very experienced with helping game developers.
Also, I really love RimWorld, and I think it would be really nice if I could help making the game even better!
Sign me up, and I'll do the best i can!
I'd be happy to test if you are still accepting testers.
I would love to help test out this next alpha version.

I've got some free time over next couple days, If you need some help. I'm here c:
Would love to test, might not be active and found no bugs but hey, more testing more bugs fixxed right? Shoot me a PM if you want.
I will gladly help test!
I understand that everybody has been added as a tester, but absolutely nowhere in the forum can I find a "public tester forum", which I figured that meant it would automatically become visible to myself. Do we need to ask to be a tester for the link? I know my e-mail is on the list. I'd like to be able to test the next alpha as well.

This is about testing the new alpha release to stomp out the bugs, it will get released to everyone after they are dealt with (in like a week or two, rough estimate).
If you want to sign up for the bug hunt just say the word, could be more work than fun though, mind you.
Experienced tester here. Count me in. ;D
Do I have to explicitly commit myself to this ? I've used bug trackers and (non-windows) debuggers in the past. I can hunt down bugs. I just can't promise I WILL have free time to dedicate to this. Looking for a job is time-consuming.
Experienced QA tester lfw
Rim World is a shining example of Good Indie and I'd love to support the effort with my man hours to try to break your new AI :P
Count me in! I'd love to help make rim world the best game it can be.

I appreciate all the volunteers!
Would definitely love to help in anyway I can, if it's bug finding you need I'll do my best. Anything to help give back to the community and lend a helping hand ;D
Edit: Sorry for the lateness, had a graduation yesterday :P
Count me in. I will happily do some bug testing and report.
You can count me in too, if more testers are needed.
If you still need someone, I shall volunteer again.
I volunteer as tribute *cough cough* Willing to go on a bug hunt if you still need some extra hands.
If you still need a hand, I would gladly help out ;D
Sign me up I have some time off to help out!

I don't exactly have tons of disposable free time right now but I'd love to be part of it if you need more people.

just a quick note: all who plays alpha kinda agreed to this , i just think its kinda strange to have a alpha alpha group...
my opinion - just throw out a unstable build that we can try out and a rain of bug reports will come :p
Love the game so far tho =)

I'm game, can fully devote time primarily over the weekend for testing and bug reporting.
Slam and DustBust, I've set you as public testers. Welcome :)
Tynan, I'm hoping you are still looking for testers.
And yes, finally grew tired of waiting for Steam Release and hoping for the best. Maybe you'll have some extra Steam Keys on release and you can throw one my way. (Here's to hoping!)
If you're still looking for testers..
I'd be interested in testing as well... it's been a while since I've done an actual testing beta, would love to help improve things (selfishly so, since I want to iron out all the issues that annoy me so I can have the perfect version of this game! :) )
Yer if your still looking for testers i would love to be involved, I have experience with both testing as i have don this for other games and rim world as i have modded here and there, so i know what a bug or error looks like even small ones.
