Title: Genetic modification

In space era genetic techs prevail. In managing colony just with some junks, it would be difficult for only 3 persons. Why dont they "grow" a person genetically modified to get some great features?
Ofcourse it would be hard to make it balanced.
But some tough requirements for good gen-modofied person would be enough for balancing,wirh some probability causing random mutation, turning subject into a monster.

Have you tried the "Prepare Carefully" mod?  You can most certainly start off with crewmembers with level 20 skills.  Makes things so much easier.
