Hey guys, here's the patch notes:
•Rebalanced animal hauling, traps, charge rifle, assault rifle.
•Rebalanced animal hunger rates and plant nutrition so animals need larger grass pastures to be sustainable.
•Thrumbo is much more powerful in combat.
•Sleeping pawns now wake up when harmed.
•Float menu column is wider to avoid cut-off text.
•Ship part incidents won't occur so early.
•First raid comes a bit earlier on Cassandra and Phoebe.
•Fixed: Manual work priorities being used after switching to non-manual priorities.
•Fixed: Colonists have 'colonist left unburied' thoughts when tame animals were left unburied.
•Fixed: Eggs can only be used for simple meals
•Fixed: Trade items dropping in weird places.
•Fixed: Colonists incapable of violence can slaughter animals.
•Fixed: Alphabeavers leave the map after they sleep because they get hungry.
•Fixed: Date changes over at 6am, not midnight.
•Misc. other fixes and improvements.

Here's the Assault Rifle change:
Range 32 -> 31
Cooldown 0.66s -> 0.69s
Damage, accuracy, cooldown, etc unchanged. At least for the Masterwork I bought in Spring 5500 :P. It was a nerf. I suspect Charge Rifle received a buff. I wish I had money for the Legendary Charge Rifle sold by the same trader...

Has anyone else noticed York Terriers no longer seem to nuzzle ? This makes them slower squirrels, although I suspect they'd lose a fight with one.

oh the nuzzle thing. riiiight, i did read about that before alpha12 release, but never noticed ingame.
does it show on colonist buffs or where?
In one of A12 pre-releases, a yorkie would frequently approach a colonist, making him cancel stonecutting and give him something like +4 mood bonus. It stacked pretty well, for example two nuzzles gave you +8 mood.
Nothing has changed with nuzzling. It's pretty random. Just make sure your yorkies have free reign of the colony so they're able to access the colonists they want to nuzzle.

Awww, i liked the 3 ships thing, id just go pop em all open and then retreat into my fortress and let the mechs area deny for a while.
The new poison ship (1 part) is very weak on bigger maps. It depends strongly on location. It works in a radius. I'm trying the biggest size possible for the first time.
For those interested, Charge Rifle seems to have gotten a buff!
Damage 12 -> 13
Accuracy, Long: 53% (I don't think it was that high! Those are base stats for normal.)
Cooldown 0.66s, warm-up 1.5s - I think warm-up was 1.5s, but it might have been 1.6s.
Range remains 24
For those interested, Assault Rifle has base accuracy, long at 64%.
