Ahh a mod list! Nice... problem is that tynan does not support it which it is a shame.. i used to be a mod lister. However it did not recieve the attention required. Which was saddening. Nice job!

Thought it warned you if the thread was that old..... they removed that feature?

I removed the thread so it is no longer there. It was litterally really old and mouldy. So i deleted it.Alpha 7 wad the last modpack update i did.

We don't just sticky threads for fun. Please do not abuse the report feature or it will result in a loss of forum privileges.

The reason stated (may times) and I agree with is that it's unfair to mods not included on the mod list, of which there are several.  If the list was stickied, people may never see the mods not on the list because people are, quite frankly, lazy.  If they see a list of "current alpha" mods, they will look at that list and go no further giving some mods an unfair advantage and leaving others out in the cold.

The reasoning is sound and fair.

But isn't this list intended to cover them all? Surely if one is missing the creator simply need leave a message in this post?

As important as mods are in a game like this particular one, it's quite surprising there isn't a moderator-managed and stickied page in the mod forum already. Who knows maybe there aint enough time to add posted mods to a list each day?<<<<yeah smart ass alert. Not like there's a 100 new mods a day or something, then I could def understand. Not talking a list as involved as this one mind you but just a list with links to the mods themselves would really help.

Thank god for the big compilation mods, otherwise I wouldn't have known about even a 10th of what's available and I woulda all but forgotten and quit playing a long time ago.

Mods for me make up a big portion of the life-blood(the fun stuff baby) pumping through this game's veins, a big part of why it's done as well as it has so far, and why this forum isn't a baron wasteland by now. Hopefully devs understand how important this aspect of their game is cuzz as good as it is, it's just that, good. With mods, it can really be great for so many more tastes. But if it's  a pain to find what your looking for......

Could go on for days but had to get that out of my system after I saw Ramsis's "We don't just sticky threads for fun" reply there. I'm sure that was more of a snap post in reaction to whoever "reported" but still. Sry, struck a nerv with me for some reason.  ::)

I like the look and layout of the Google Doc version of the mod list. May as well bookmark that and then come back to it when you're looking to see if there are new mods.

I tried doing mod update bulletin-style posts a while back but it was really tough to stick with it.

I've got a mod not listed here! Can you add Soda Brewing to the list? It uses the same URL as Additional Joy Objects.

BTW great work on the modlist. I saw Quill18 tweet it, and I downloaded like 10 mods I didn't even know were out.

Just wanted to say that I have 2 new mods out: Rim Pharma and Soda Garden. Soda Garden is an addon for Soda Brewing and Vegetable Garden, so try to make sure that finds its way into the description, please! Also, why isn't this thread stickied? All this talk about alternative mod hosts, but we don't even sticky the useful mod lists?

Haven't been able to keep an eye on these forums, hope I didn't miss too much!

Wish they would sticky threads like this that condense all updated and compatible (with the current version of the game not other mods) mods    such a pain to hunt through every single thread

You may not "sticky threads for fun". But it isn't much of any extra work for your mods to keep a list current. They already have to be browsing forums being mods, how much is it to check they few new mods that show up and ones that update for 12? You as managers of this sites abilities aren't providing it yourself so members of the community are. Maybe they are late and imperfect, but you aren't OFFERING an alternative, so members would like the mod lists we can make with one person updating, to be stickied if you refuse to provide a properly maintained list.

Okay... long story short.
I am considering this mod list dead. utai doesn't seem to be active in the community and I simply kinda lost the intrest on rimworld so I have NO guarantees that this will be continuing further. if Tynan wants teh mod list he will need to PM me.
