Title: Manhunter Warg Self-Tames; Opens Door, Resumes Manhunting
Post by: Didact04 on September 14, 2015, 03:42:58 PM
So apparently part of becoming self-tamed involves spontaneously sprouting a set of keys for the locked doors to my colony. It just sorta...opened the door and walked in. And then bit my colonist's ear off. Was, uh, kinda stupid. Not gonna lie.

Someone should probably include 'manhunter mode' as an exception to the whole 'self taming' thing. Just saying.

I've had this bug as well with other man-hunting animals, a muffalo and a boar.

this is probably related to the taming not resetting the tasks for the animal pawn bug

It's not that big a deal if a manhunter animal self-tames, or that they're necessarily able to, it's just that they suddenly learn how to open doors when they do. The bug consists of many parts that can get fixed in one of several simple ways.

Maybe it was only pretending to be tame to infiltrate your base. We're dealing with a cunning beast here. 8)
