Title: [Alphas to date] The stacking thing... is it a bug?
Post by: Listy on May 28, 2016, 04:58:16 AM
Something that's been irritating me for many many Alphas, that's made me want to reach in a slap my colonists for being so bloody dumb is this sort of thing:

Now its not so much a bug as such. But it is something that's on the programming side of things, hence why I'm sticking it in the bug section.

For those who can't see it:
Look at the numbers of meals in a stack. Because the meals aren't stacked to capacity its taken up more storage space than it needed too, and has caused the spare fine meal to have no home to go to.

There is some randomness in how they place things, which is by design.

It's a bit suboptimal but at this point I don't think I'm going to address this (it would be very difficult to solve for very little gain).

Thanks for reporting either way.
